Back Inversion Table Review: EZ Up Inversion System, Teeters Inversion Table and F9000 Inversion Table
Back Inversion Table Review
I’m going to provide an overview of the back inversion table with general information on how it works and some of the more popular back inversion tables. I’ll include more specific information including back inversion tables reviews and ratings, the EZ Up Inversion System, Teeters Inversion Table and the F9000 Inversion Table (now known as the EP 950).
Most back inversion tables use the force of gravity to help stretch and traction your back to reduce back and neck pain, which is why it’s also known as an inversion stretch table. It helps relieve stress, stretch and relax your entire body, and reduce sciatic discomfort. A back inversion table is a simple and effective way to maintain joint and spine flexibility and good posture and hydrate the discs. You can add strength training exercises as you gain experience without adding any load to the spine. It can help stimulate circulation and get a mild and relaxing cardiovascular workout. Hanging upside down for back pain relief, you can do gentle stretching exercises to help move the tissues and muscles in the lower back. You can gently rotate side to side or slowly rock your pelvis forward and backward.
EZ Up Inversion System
The Teeter Hang Ups EZ UP Inversion System gives you a full body stretch, and is also a great tool for inverted exercises like stretches, sit ups, crunches and squats. Full range inverted sit ups provide minmal load on the back and are ten times tougher than horizontal situps.
The EZ Up inversion rack installs in a solid door frame and doesn’t interfere with door function. It takes up no floor space, and includes the SL Spyder boots, EZ Up inversion rack, instructional video and book. It’s used with gravity boots to invert fully at a ninety degree angle. It has locking brackets for safety and dual bars for EZ mounting and EZ dismounting. The Spyder gravity boots provide ankle conforming fit through two “fine tuning” buckles with micro adjusting ratchets to fit the exact size and angle of your ankle.
Teeters Inversion Table
Teeter is the most well known brand of inversion tables. The Teeters inversion table includes a variety of models, and their inversion table ratings get 4-5 stars out of 5 stars by consumers. They’ve been on the market longer than any other inversion table, since 1980. Roger Teeter is the founder and was a chronic back pain sufferer. He was introduced to inversion therapy almost 30 years ago, and it was the only thing that gave him the relief he needed. So he design his own version and the Teeter inversion tables were introduced.
The different models of the Teeters inversion table include the Teeter F5000 inversion table (now the EP500 inversion table) and F9000 Inversion Table (now the EP950 inversion table).
F9000 Inversion Table now known as the Teeter Hang Ups EP950
The Teeter Hang Ups F9000 inversion table was replaced by the EP 950 in 2008. The F9000 inversion table provided relief to back pain for thousands, and was one of the favorites. The Teeter EP950 improved the well tested design of the Teeter F9000, particularly with it’s new revolutionary Flex Technology bed. This bed gives you a more comfortable inversion than the rigid back of the F9000 inversion table.
The Teeter Hang Ups website is very user friendly, and will help you determine what model would be best for your needs by answering a series of questions to find the best one. If you’re plagued by back pain, stiff joints, or suffer from stress overload, the Teeters inversion table helps counter the effects of back stress and strain, pain and tightness, repetitive motion, and too much time spent standing, sitting, etc.
The back inversion table allows for full inversion and folds for easy storage. The inversion stretch station includes:
- a ratchet mechanism to fasten your feet
-
an injection molded flex technology bed
- an adjustable head pillow
- an adjustable foot platform for custom ankle comfort
- corner feet for greater stability
- an EZ Angle Tether Strap for pre-set angles
- inversion table instructions / DVD with stretching and exercise classes for your back by Dr. Shawn

[...] Back decompression therapy helps as a bulging disc treatment, herniated disc treatment and spinal stenosis treatment, because it helps separate the vertebrae to relieve pressure, helps stretching to reduce back and neck pain, reverses the negative effects on your body from gravity including circulation, height loss, body functions and prolapsed organs. It helps flexibility in the spine and joints and hydrates spinal discs, relaxes muscles, reduces tension and stress and improves ligament movement and overall health. To learn more about back pain equipment available, feel free to visit my back pain relief products page. [...]

A very misleading statement about LASIK is that it is just not wholesome. This rumor has grown from the inception of LASIK surgical treatment when the process and equipment employed during the surgery had been not perfected. Furthermore rumors of bad LASIK surgeries often come from these discount surgeons who’re not qualified. Lasiksg.com
