Review of Back Pain Relief Products to Lose the Back Pain

There are a wide variety of back pain relief products that can help you lose the back pain temporarily, over time, and sometimes permanently, depending on your back pain cause and symptoms.

Back pain medicine can include over the counter back pain medications as well as prescription back pain medication.  Heat and ice can provide very good temporary back pain relief, back pain massage therapy and electrical muscle stimulators like the TENS unit (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) is a very good back pain relief product.  I know!

Back strengthening exercises are Essential for a healthy back, because they strengthen your stomach muscles which support your back.  Muscle stretching exercises should always be done before back strengthening exercises so you muscles are more pliable and prepared.  There are a lot of back pain products and tools to help provide chronic back pain relief and help your back become more strong and fit to reduce injury and pain.  I’ll review some of these below:

Back Pain Products to Help You Lose the Back Pain

Some back pain products that will help you lose the back pain include the following.  Just be sure they will treat your back pain condition(s):

Back Inversion Table:

Back inversion tables are great for helping to undo the damage that gravity has caused your back.  The discs in your spinal column get compressed by gravity which causes pain, bulging discs, deteriorating diss, etc.  Back inversion therapy helps to decompress the spine, which takes the pressure off of nerves, increases blood flow/circulation, which provides more hydration to the discs to help healing.

Trigger Point Therapy is like having a acupressure masseuse on hand to get rid of your back pain.  It’s the easiest way to get a deep pressure massage in the comfort of your own home anytime.  It uses your own body weight to get back pain relief and a great massage at the same time.

Orthopedic Seat Cushions and Back Support Cushions designed to fit your whole back from the upper back to your hips are a great way to help reduce back pain while you’re sitting, and promote good posture, which is key.  Sitting puts a lot of pressure on your spine, and orthopedic seat cushions and back support cushions help alleviate that, as well as the option of massage and heated massage to help speed healing.

Lose the Back Pain System shows you everything you need to know including how to identify what’s causing your back pain and treat the back pain symptoms, cause and condition.  It doesn’t treat all back pain, but 90% of back pain is treatable, and most of it is caused by muscle imbalance and muscle dysfunction, so there’s a very good chance that it will help you.

Lumbar Support Pillows, Inflatable Bed Wedge, Inflatable Wedge Pillow, Save My Face Pillow and Neck Roll Pillows

Saturday, June 26th, 2010

Lumbar Support Pillows

inflatable bed wedge

Proper posture helps prevent and relieve back discomfort. A lot of posture and back pain issues happen from sitting too long and not getting up periodically to stretch, or sitting or laying in a poor position. Lumbar support pillows help your spine rest in a position allowing for natural spine curvature. There are also travel lumbar support pillows that have an orthopedic design, and help reduce back fatigue when driving or sitting for long periods.

Inflatable Bed Wedges

Inflatable bed wedges help these health issues:

  • Acid Reflux and Heartburn
  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
  • Hiatal Hernia
  • Difficulty breathing and Obstructive Sleep Apnea
  • Snoring and Congestion
  • Discomfort from Pregnancy
  • Muscle and Joint Pain

They help provide comfort & relief to those suffering with these symptoms and disorders.  An elevated inflatable bed wedge also help your position in bed for reading, watching tv, etc.

Inflatable Wedge Pillows

Inflatable Wedge Pillows (as above) inflate to elevate your upper body to a more comfortable position.  They’re designed with an incline to elevate your head for better breathing, relieving pressure and keeping any swelling down.  They also help with the symptoms above in Inflatable Bed Wedges.  A lot of people use an inflatable wedge pillow like the “Save My Face” pillow to keep pressure off their face to reduce wrinkling or relieve pressure after surgery or injury, because it helps with proper alignment and keeps the affected area elevated to reduce swelling.  It also helps blood circulation to help healing.

Save My Face Pillow

The Save My Face pillow is an innovative pillowette that protects your skin and complexion while you sleep.  It has a unique structure and double crescent shape design so you can rest comfortably on either side with your face slightly elevated.  This reduces pressure on your skin tissue and facial muscles.  It can be used alone or with your regular pillow.  It’s suppose to help reduce snoring and improve oxygen flow, and it’s said that it’s also great for pregnant women, because it can be used as an abdominal, cervical and knee support.

Neck Roll Pillows

neck roll pillows

Neck roll pillows help support and position the neck, back, knees and ankles, and some now provide a wider range of support. You want a neck roll pillow that’s soft, but supportive, and wide.  They’re easy to travel with and help provide good back support when you’re sitting.

Inflatable neck roll pillows help provide custom support, and with a foam neck roll pillow, can be put inside or with a standard pillow as a good supportive neck pillow.  Some neck roll pillows use memory foam which is great, and have an optional use of a hot or cold pack insert to use as a therapeutic neck roll.

Depending on the type of health or pain issue you have will determine which type of pillow you use, whether a lumbar support pillow, bed wedge or inflatable bed wedge or wedge pillow / inflatable wedge pillow, or a neck roll pillow.  The Save My Face pillow is useful for individuals following surgery, with dermatological problems, etc.

Relaxobak® Orthopedic Seat Cushion Review: RelaxoBak® Review and Back Support Cushion Facts

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

Relaxobak® Review and Facts About the Orthopedic Seat Cushion

I’m writing a Relaxobak® review about this orthopedic seat cushion today, because several of my visitors have gotten it, I’ve received no negative feedback, and it’s a very popular inexpensive back support, tailbone (coccyx) and lower back support cushion.  I’ll tell you about the types of back pain it’s suppose to help, whether it’s recommended, patented, FDA medical device certification and other professional statements, customers’ personal Relaxobak® reviews and ratings, etc.

The RelaxoBak® Original Orthopedic Seat’s been prescribed by 3,200+ chiropractic clinics, hospitals and medical supply companies around the world since 1963.  It’s a patented design to remove pressure from the lower spine and tailbone and evenly distribute your body weight.  The company says they have over 1,000,000 satisfied users, it’s light weight and portable, is very easy to use, fits in any seat, and has a great low price.  But… does the Relaxo Bak® orthopedic seat cushion work?  I’ll review this below.

Does the Relaxo Bak® Back Support Cushion Work?

There are a lot of claims that the Relaxo Bak® back support cushion works, but how do we KNOW it does?  First, I check with the Better Business Bureau to see the company ratings, if they’re BBB accredited, and go from there.  Relaxo Bak®, Inc is BBB accredited with an A+ rating.  There have been no complaints filed in the past three years.  It’s a FDA certified product, clinically tested and found to be “an appropriate orthopedic comfort seat to ease back pain so you can sit or drive for long periods without discomfort”.orthopedic seat cushion

Dr. Robert Orr conducted an extensive clinical trial over 4 months on more than 300 people, selected to represent a wide range of complaint histories including lower back pain, sciatica, tailbone pain and spinal curvatures (lordosis).  In control groups, some used the Original Relaxobak comfort seat full- and part-time for 4 months, and others did not. The products were consistently effective regardless of the person’s age, size and weight.  Relief from muscular tension and postular strain was evident in every person who used it.  X-rays showed a decrease in spinal curvatures, relief from terminal fatigue, many said they had more sound, restful sleep, and the integrity of the spinal column was maintained using the Relaxo bak back support cushions.

Following the clinical trial Dr. Orr said, “We firmly believe that with proper application and continued use, the RelaxoBak® meets all of your claims.”

-  RelaxoBak is a FDA-registered Medical Device Manufacturer, and all of their Cushion & Seat Products are based on the same proven, patented scientific principles.

-  The Relaxo-Bak® orthopedic seat cushion earned the commendation of the California Chiropractic Association Evaluation Committee, which is a valued award.

Relaxo Back Reviews and Ratings

Here are just a few Relaxo Bak® reviews and ratings to keep this brief:

fellicia 28/02/2010 at 2:38 pm

“Being a software programmer my back hurts a lot since i have to sit for about 12-13 hours. So this is really irritating for me and i couldnt concentrate on my work. Relaxo Bak comes as a cool assistance for my back pain.”

sherry llyod 01/03/2010 at 1:46 pm

“This product completely replaces all those supplements and medicines which promises to ease away your back pain. Its comparatively less expensive as well. Overall a great product.”

  maurice 03/03/2010 at 7:44 pm

“After sitting for long hours at work and then working at home, it becomes terrible for my back and after trying several medicines i couldnt get rid of that pain. Relaxo Bak showed its effects very quickly.

The only negative feedback I could find was one individual said it was “too hard” and “made funny sounds” when you sat on it.  One said it got more comfortable the more they used it.

Exercise Ball Chair:  Is This Cheap Ball Chair the Best?

cheap ball chair

If you haven’t heard of the exercise ball chair, it’s an ergonomic balance ball chair developed to help improve posture, strengthen core abdominal muscles, and reduce nerve compression to help alleviate back pain causes.  The exercise ball chair encourages you to continuously hold your body, spine, abdominal, gluteal and leg muscles in the correct position, encouraging good posture and muscular strength and support.

Many physical therapists, kinesiotherapists and personal trainers use an exercise ball chair or balance ball chair. With an exercise ball chair, you need to follow directions on use.  Many find it much more comfortable than even the standard ergonomic chairs or desk chairs once they get use to it.  There are many exercises you can do with the exercise ball to help improve posture, strength, balance, toning, etc.  This is a cheap ball chair, but provides health and fitness benefits at home or in the office with ergonomic back support.

Is a Cheap Ball Chair the Best Ergonomic Office Chair or Orthopedic Office Chairs?

A cheap ball chair may or may not be the best ergonomic office chair or orthopedic office chairs selection.  You need to do your homework when researching and comparing them.  You want to be sure that it:

  • Helps improve spinal alignment, reduces nerve compression, strengthens the core and improve posture and balance
  • Is fully adjustable and fits you
  • Uses a professional grade anti-burst exercise ball
  • Includes a use and workout guide
  • Is stable but lightweight
  • Is easily movable, but has lockable wheels
  • Is easy to set up and use
  • Is highly rated and developed by a reputable company

Read actual customer reviews and ratings.  You don’t want to jeopardize your money or health for a cheap ball chair.

The Best Ergonomic Office Chair or Orthopedic Office Chairs

The best ergonomic office chair or orthopedic office chairs are well made by a reputable company and are very popular with customers.  There are quality “one size fits all” options, and there should be back support options, adjustable seat and arm options, and swivel capability.  They should be very durable and easy to maintain, but comfort and promoting good posture is the most important.  They should be customizable and adjustable to each person’s body type to avoid repetitive motion or strain injuries, aches, cramps, etc.  Height, position and angle to adjust tilt and rotation to the desk are key.

Orthopedic office chairs aka back support chairs, have two main functions:  support the posture and alignment of the spine and muscles, head, neck and back to avoid unnecessary strain, and balance body movements relieving pressure.

best ergonomic chair

Gaiam’s exercise ball chair or Balanceball chair was developed in coordination with Dr. Randy J. It’s been featured on “Good Morning America” and in newspapers and magazines, and seems to be very well liked by the customers.  Rated 4-4.6 out of 5 stars overall, it comes with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

Electric Muscle Stimulator: Using an Electronic Muscle Stimulator or Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator (TENS Machines) for Back Pain

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

Using an Electric Muscle Stimulator or (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator TENS Machines) for Back Pain

TENS units (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator) have been used by the medical and rehabilitation industries for years in treating patients for injuries, pain and rehabilitation, as well as improving circulation.  An electronic muscle stimulator (EMS) stimulates the muscles by transmitting electrical impulses to them.  Some claim that EMS exercises muscles, and some believe it can accelerate muscle growth.  An electric muscle stimulator (EMS) or transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator (TENS) can be a valuable aid in rehabilitation.

In the past TENS machines (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulators) have only been available by prescription, but you can now get them without one.  TENS unit electrodes (pads with wires) are affixed to the skin over the area in pain. An electrical current is sent via the TENS electrodes to the nerves.  It blocks pain signals from the brain, allowing the muscles to relax which alleviates pain, and you can heal more quickly because of this.  TENS pain relief also encourages your body to produce natural pain killers called Endorphins or Encephalins (Enkephalin).

Many users experience pain reduction quickly, and it can last for several hours or more, depending on the severity of the injury or pain, whether acute or chronic (long-term), and the intensity of the therapy.  I’ve had my TENS device since a car accident in 1997 and it’s been a savior for me.  I still use it if I’ve tweaked or cramped a muscle and the pain won’t go away.  Some use EMS and TENS therapy to ‘exercise’ and tone muscles.

Does an Electronic Muscle Stimulator Work for Back Pain?

SinceMiniMasseusePro.com Buy Yours Today the Electronic Muscle Stimulator (EMS) gently stimulates the muscles using small electrical impulses that contract and relax the muscles in varying degrees and by various means (depending on the unit’s capabilities), yes it should.  It’s used as a form of “electrotherapy” as well as muscle training, and is used by a lot of sports trainers and athletes.  It’s used as a therapy for musculoskeletal injuries, while TENS machines use an electric current for pain therapy.  They’re both used and recommended by doctors and other medical practitioners, physical therapists, chiropractors and sports coaches.  They can be used to treat acute and chronic pain to:

  • Relax muscles reducing spasms and tightness
  • Increase blood circulation
  • Maintain or increase range of motion

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulators – TENS Machines

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulators (TENS machines) are used for spinal rehabilitation and pain management.  They’re portable with a small battery operated unit that can be clipped or worn on the body.  Frequency and intensity controls and settings are variable and can be adjusted to the amount of pain.

A number of reviews (meta-analyses) have confirmed its effectiveness for chronic musculoskeletal pain, osteoarthritis and post-operative pain.  They’re also used to alleviate neuropathic pain due to nerve damage.

*NOTE:  If you have a pacemaker, it’s indicated that you should not use either TENS EMS, because the electrical current may interfere with the pacemaker. They should be used with caution if you have epilepsy or are pregnant.

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

Ergonomic Kneel Chair

Kneelsit - The Chair for Life

If you haven’t heard of the ergonomic kneel chair “Kneelsit”, it’s an ergonomic balance chair that gives you relief from back pain as well as comfort.  It’s especially good for those of us that sit for long periods, causing poor posture, compressed discs and increased back pain.  Traditional chairs can make these problems worse.  The ergonomic knee chair combines balance, movement and a seat that slopes forward to help encourage better posture, increased circulation and nourishment to your spine.

In a standard chair all of the pressure of your body weight goes to your spine, and the longer you sit the more tired you get, and the more stress is caused on your spine; particularly your lower back and buttocks.  The ergonomic kneel chair is designed to help alleviate all of these things.

Ergonomic Knee Chair Quality and Origination

The Kneelsit ergonomic knee chair was designed by an individual experiencing a lot of back pain.  They say that they spent years researching, as well as studying anatomy, physiology, etc.  A number of studies and reports were done by various engineering, medical and ergonomic organizations and experts, including the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission, universities, rehabilitation and chiropractic centers.

The organization also provides information on medical & health issues related to back pain, and how this chair provides benefits & relief.  The ergonomic knee chair has a rust resistant steel frame with a smooth coating for durability and strength.  They say it’s been tested and approved for function and safety by various therapists, institutions and commissions.  It’s suppose to support a person weighing up to 407 pounds, and they say that each Kneelsit ergonomic knee chair is individually inspected.

Sit Kneel Chair Benefits

The kneel sit kneel chair is suppose to help balance and align your body from head to toe which relieves strain on your back and spine.  It has a forward sloping seat designed to help gentle natural movement with a patented swivel mechanism that’s suppose to provide benefits such as:

Kneelsit - The Chair for Life

  • Reduced lower back pain, spinal and disc problems, and improved posture with lumbar support
  • Relieving muscle, joint and tendon tension so they’re more relaxed
  • Reducing the chance of deteriorated or slipped discs
  • Nourishment of the spinal discs’ cells
  • Reduction of pressure on your diaphragm so you breathe easier
  • Improved motor skills, alertness and concentration by stimulating your inner ear’s balance mechanism

The kneel sit ergonomic computer chair is suppose to provide natural movement which increases blood flow (nourishment) to your spine, keeping it healthy.  This ergonomic knee chair is adjustable to provide a custom fit to your body.  The height and depth of the seat, back rest and shin rest are adjustable.

Possible Sit Kneel Chair Cons

If you have pre-existing conditions such as weak joints, knee or leg problems, or certain spinal problems, it may aggravate them, so I would suggest checking with your doctor.  Otherwise, if you’d like to get and maintain good spinal health while relieving your back pain, the ergonomic kneel chair is a great option in relieving your back pain cause.  To learn more, just click on one of the images in this post.

Back Inversion Table Review: EZ Up Inversion System, Teeters Inversion Table and F9000 Inversion Table

Thursday, January 7th, 2010

Back Inversion Table Review

I’m going to provide an overview of the back inversion table with general information on how it works and some of the more popular back inversion tables.  I’ll include more specific information including back inversion tables reviews and ratings, the EZ Up Inversion System, Teeters Inversion Table and the F9000 Inversion Table (now known as the EP 950).

Most back inversion tables use the force of gravity to help stretch and traction your back to reduce back and neck pain, which is why it’s also known as an inversion stretch table.  It helps relieve stress, stretch and relax your entire body, and reduce sciatic discomfort.  A back inversion table is a simple and effective way to maintain joint and spine flexibility and good posture and hydrate the discs.  You can add strength training exercises as you gain experience without adding any load to the spine.  It can help stimulate circulation and get a mild and relaxing cardiovascular workout.  Hanging upside down for back pain relief, you can do gentle stretching exercises to help move the tissues and muscles in the lower back.  You can gently rotate side to side or slowly rock your pelvis forward and backward.

EZ Up Inversion System

ez up inversion systemThe Teeter Hang Ups EZ UP Inversion System gives you a full body stretch, and is also a great tool for inverted exercises like stretches, sit ups, crunches and squats.  Full range inverted sit ups provide minmal load on the back and are ten times tougher than horizontal situps.

The EZ Up inversion rack installs in a solid door frame and doesn’t interfere with door function.  It takes up no floor space, and includes the SL Spyder boots, EZ Up inversion rack, instructional video and book.  It’s used with gravity boots to invert fully at a ninety degree angle.  It has locking brackets for safety and dual bars for EZ mounting and EZ dismounting.  The Spyder gravity boots provide ankle conforming fit through two “fine tuning” buckles with micro adjusting ratchets to fit the exact size and angle of your ankle.

Teeters Inversion Table

Teeter is the most well known brand of inversion tables. The Teeters inversion table includes a variety of models, and their inversion table ratings get 4-5 stars out of 5 stars by consumers.  They’ve been on the market longer than any other inversion table, since 1980.  Roger Teeter is the founder and was a chronic back pain sufferer.  He was introduced to inversion therapy almost 30 years ago, and it was the only thing that gave him the relief he needed.  So he design his own version and the Teeter inversion tables were introduced.

The different models of the Teeters inversion table include the Teeter F5000 inversion table (now the EP500 inversion table) and F9000 Inversion Table (now the EP950 inversion table).

F9000 Inversion Table now known as the Teeter Hang Ups EP950

Teeters inversion tableThe Teeter Hang Ups F9000 inversion table was replaced by the EP 950 in 2008.  The F9000 inversion table provided relief to back pain for thousands, and was one of the favorites.  The Teeter EP950 improved the well tested design of the Teeter F9000, particularly with it’s new revolutionary Flex Technology bed.  This bed gives you a more comfortable inversion than the rigid back of the F9000 inversion table.

The Teeter Hang Ups website is very user friendly, and will help you determine what model would be best for your needs by answering a series of questions to find the best one.  If you’re plagued by back pain, stiff joints, or suffer from stress overload, the Teeters inversion table helps counter the effects of back stress and strain, pain and tightness, repetitive motion, and too much time spent standing, sitting, etc.

The back inversion table allows for full inversion and folds for easy storage.  The inversion stretch station includes:

  • a ratchet mechanism to fasten your feet
  • an injection molded flex technology bed
  • an adjustable head pillow
  • an adjustable foot platform for custom ankle comfort
  • corner feet for greater stability
  • an EZ Angle Tether Strap for pre-set angles
  • inversion table instructions / DVD with stretching and exercise classes for your back by Dr. Shawn

Most of us know that our posture is key in maintaining a healthy back.  Bad posture can affect the nerves along your spine that coordinate the muscles of the body.  It can lead to back, shoulder and neck pain from strained spinal discs or muscle stress or strain.  Poor posture can lead to “rounded shoulders” and the “dowager’s hump”, and also affects your breathing.  The posture corrective brace was developed to correct posture and improve stature to eliminate hunching and slouching, and relieve back pain. Posture corrective braces are very popular because people realize how important correct posture is in their health, back support and pain relief.

Shoulder Posture Brace

Posture corrective braces come in different forms, depending on your back pain issue, wants and needs.  The purpose of the brace is to help you maintain healthy posture.  It helps support and engage the muscles in your back and shoulders, so your back is strengthened by the steady pressure.  The core muscles are strengthened, which helps correct slumped or hunched shoulders.  A shoulder posture brace is very effective in helping you keep your back in the correct position by improving proper posture.  It keeps your shoulders back as they should be to help keep your spine straight.  A posture corrective brace can be invaluable, especially if you suffer from back problems.  You want to make sure to get a shoulder posture brace that’s adjustable, including all straps and shoulder straps.  The shoulder straps should be padded for more comfort.  Good shoulder posture braces are easy to use and comfortable.  Once you’ve worn a shoulder posture brace for a while, you’ll naturally hold your body in the proper position, which will help alleviate your back pain as well as other health problems.

To get the most benefit and improvement in your back pain cause, you should combine using posture corrective braces with back and core strengthening exercises.

Find the Right Back Support Brace

back support brace

You need to know how to find the right back support brace.  Here are some tips to make sure you get the right one for you:

1. Determine why you need a back support brace, and make sure you find one that will help the section of your back that’s having issues.

2. Comfort and Movement.  Although you may have some discomfort initially because of the posture change, the brace shouldn’t be too tight or rub against the skin.  You should also be able to move fairly freely.  It should provide support while you’re sitting, standing, driving, at home, work or traveling.  Side supports, pulleys and air systems also help provide lateral and kidney support and cusion.  Make sure to get the right size.

3. It should have a good warranty, return or exchange policy if you don’t feel it’s the right one for you.

4. You won’t be able to wear all kinds of braces with any type of clothing, so keep this in mind when you’re looking for the right one for you.

Chronic back pain is much more difficult to treat, because it’s lasted more than six months, and usually leads to inactivity and dysfunction of the spine.  You should talk to your doctor about your specific back pain, and discuss what type of posture corrective brace would be the best for you.  A shoulder posture brace is very commonly used, but make sure the back support brace is effective for the type or location of your back pain, and the specific support and relief you’re looking for.

Back Pain Relief Products

There are a lot of back pain relief products available today, and you need to find the proper one to treat your upper back muscle pain or lower back pain.  I’ll list some causes of upper back pain and lower back pain, as well as some treatments.  You can then decide what the best back pain product may be for you to get the upper back pain relief or lower back pain remedy you need.

Upper Back Muscle Pain, Lower Back Pain and Lower Back and Leg Pain

Upper back muscle pain is usually a result of falls, sports injuries, car accidents, abuse and over-use.  The pain’s normally worse when you make certain movements or do certain activities.  A muscle spasm is fairly common with upper back injuries.  Stiffness and tightness is very common, and you may feel a ‘pull’ or ‘stretch’ when you use those muscles.  This usually happens when you’re  stretching and reaching.

You can start to rehabilitate these muscles after a couple of days, but you need to take it slow and easy.  The moderate movement increases blood circulation, which speeds healing.

lower back and leg pain

Most lower back pain is triggered by a combination of overuse, injury, or muscle strain.  It’s believed that muscle strain can lead to an imbalance of the spine over time.  This can lead to continuous tension in your soft and hard tissues (muscles, ligaments, discs and bones), and can make your back more prone to injury or re-injury.  They tend to make each other worse, because you’ll compensate using another muscle when you hurt one, which will strain it.

Lower back and leg pain is most commonly sciatica back pain, which is usually a shooting pain from your lower back down your leg.  It can also be “referred back pain”, which is when your brain thinks the pain is in one place when it’s in another.  It could also be compressed nerve roots from the spinal cord to the leg which can be caused by a herniated disc.  This would have to be tested to see how affected the compressed nerves are.  Surgery could be required, but I always suggest treating it from the most conservative graduating to more radical treatment.

Another possibility could be tendon overuse.  This can be treated with rest and ice or gentle massage to find and help the source of the pain.  Chiropractic care is an option, and you could get muscle relaxers, but that takes longer to heal.  Sometimes it can be a neurological dysfunction causing neuropathic pain from the back to the leg.  If you have pain in both the back and leg, there are other possibilities which I won’t go into here.

You want to be fairly certain of your back pain cause.  If you have any of these back pain symptoms:

Adrenal Fatigue Alert               Piriformis Syndrome
Arthritis of the Spine                Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction
Degenerative Disc Disease      Sciatica
Facet Joint Syndrome              Scoliosis
Fibromyalgia                            Somatic Pain in your back
Forward Head Posture            Spondylolisthesis
Herniated Disc                         Stenosis of the spine
Lower Back Pain                      Upper back pain
Neck Pain                                 Vertebral compression fracture
Pinched Nerve

I would suggest taking a look at the Lose the Back Pain System.  It uses muscle balance therapy which I talked about above, and shows you how to identify the cause, treat the dysfunction, then treat the overall condition.  It’s helped tens of thousands of chronic back pain sufferers, and offers a 60 Day Money Back Guarantee.  Right now they have a 21 Day Challenge where you only pay shipping ($9.95 I believe), and if you don’t lose your back pain, you don’t pay anything so there’s nothing to lose.  I stand by it, and have written about it before.  All you have to lose is the pain!  You can check it out here:  Back Pain Relief Products
