I have had my Walkfit Orthotics for I am guessing about 2 years now. The plantar fascitis was so bad in one foot I barely felt any relief after a night's rest, i.e. the pain would start the minute I hit the floor, not after hours of being on my feet. It got to the point it became difficult to manage day to day activities. I made a routine visit to my PCP, & mentioned the pain. Reluctantly he talked me into an injection in the worst foot (he wanted to do both, but I figured the other had a long way to go yet). The injection was not as bad as I thought and worked wonders - for me. Then I bought a pair of Walkfit Orthotics. I figured I have wasted more money unintentionally in my life and it was a small price to pay if they worked. Then, I wondered why I waited so long. I will say, they do hurt when you put them in - feel like you are walking on rocks, but it does not take long, provided you have good shoes to begin with, sturdy, that support your feet where they won't slide around a lot. I have recommended them to friends with similar complaints as mine. I occasionally wear shoes without them and immediately notice the difference and put them back in. I hope you find my testimony helpful.
