What cause this back pain?

I have really bad muscle pains when I twist the wrong way or bend down. It used to just be on one side of my back, but now it's kind of all around. A couple times, after bending down to pick something, I just had to stay paralized for a few minutes becasue it hurt so bad. What could this be?
